Groundworks

Cloud Nine houses require smaller foundations than conventional onsite builds, usually consisting of small concrete pads or screw-piles. We supply the structural engineering drawing s which show the loading points of the building, however, the final design is the result of the Site Specific design work reflected by your ground conditions and other local matters. Basic concrete pads for most of our houses will be in the region of £3,500 per house, dependent on local conditions.

Services

Our buildings only need a power source of standard mains electrical connection and no gas or oil.

Mains water, telecoms, soil pipe, and water run-off are all standard connections. The cost of these again depends on your sites access to such services which will vary from a suburban house to a remote location. Expect costs to start from £4,000, again dependent upon ground conditions and distances from utility connections.

Cranage

We help with organising this but the cost is dependent on your site access and how many houses you are having delivered. The cranes are usually at a day rate and a crane can lift, for example, up to 3 Bude houses per day. A crane charge of £2750 per day should be allowed for a normal accessand this needs to be commissioned by the customer for their site.
